THE COMPANY
EON Consulting was launched in October 2004 by Eriq Neale. Having lived in and around Denton for over 20 years, Eriq wanted to provide quality technical services and business planning to small business in the local community. In May of 2006, EON Consulting moved into our current location in the Hickory Street Office Building on the south west corner of the Denton Square.
OUR AFFILIATIONS
EON Consulting has been a member of the Denton Chamber of Commerce since 2004 and a member of the Main Street Association since 2006. We joined the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce in 2009. EON Consulting has been a Microsoft Partner since 2004 and was the first business in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex to earn the Small Business Specialist designation from Microsoft in August 2005. We became involved with the Microsoft Local Business program in 2009.

Eriq Neale – owner and Senior Technology Specialist
A native Texan, Eriq Neale has been a Denton County resident since 1986, living in Denton proper the majority of that time. A graduate of the University of North Texas, he has maintained strong ties with the area educational institutions, including serving as adjunct faculty at North Central Texas College in Corinth for four years. Eriq is a graduate of the 2007 class of Leadership Denton and served two terms as President of the Denton chapter of BNI.
Eriq has been involved in providing technical support and consulting services in various guises since the late 1980′s. Over his career, he has worked with large and small organizations alike, including Nortel Networks and Trinity Industries. During that time, he contributed to a number of technical reference books for Syngress Media and Osbourne/McGraw-Hill. In 2004, Eriq worked for Microsoft providing technical support for the Small Business Server product line and related technologies. Since then, he has been the lead author for two books on the product, Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 Unleashed and Windows Small Business Server 2008 Unleashed.
In 2006, Eriq’s contributions to the SMB IT community were recognized by Microsoft and he was awarded the Most Valuable Professional status for the Small Business Server product line. Microsoft has awarded Eriq the MVP status every year since. Eriq has also been invited to speak at numerous industry conferences, including the SBSMigration.com IT Professional conference in New Orleans in 2007 and 2008, SMB Nation Fall conference in Redmond in 2005, SMB Nation Europe conference in Amsterdam in 2006, the SMB Security Summit in Sydney, Australia, in 2007, the SMB Nation Spring 2009 and 2010 conference in New Jersey, and the SMB Nation Fall 2009 and 2010 conference in Las Vegas.
Eriq has also been hosting the eOnCall internet radio program on the AirTunz Rock station weekly since October 2005. He continues to speak at user group meetings across North America and actively participates in several industry discussion forums. He has signed on to speak at the inaugural MVP Nation 2011 conference in Bellevue, Washington, in March and is working on other speaking engagements for the year.
Quinton Thomas – Senior Technology Specialist
Quinton joined EON Consulting in February 2010 and graduated from the University of North Texas shortly afterward.
